EAS-Electronic Article Surveillance RF MONO
Electronic article surveillance (EAS) is a deterrence loss prevention system used by retailers to deter shoplifting. EAS involves the use of electronic security towers(EAS antenna) and electronic security tags. Hard tags or Sticker tags(security labels) are placed on items throughout the store manually or are applied when merchandise is made and are disabled at check-out by either removing the hard tag using a detacher or by scanning label tags over a electronic label deactivator. If the tag is not disabled it will activate the alarm pedestals, which are generally located at the exit of a retail store. EAS tags & labels are extremely effective in deterring amateur shoplifting, but most professionals require a combination of hard tags, labels, and ink tags to keep them in check.

Knowing the principles of the surveillance system, you can easily understand the EAS system.
Antenna: Antenna is essential, installed near the door, and continuously detecting the un-cancelled labels in the area. It alarms if it detects one. The paid items with decoded soft label or without hard tags will not start the alarm, so that alarming means there is unpaid goods will be taken out.
Hard tags: Hard tags are the most commonly used and most affordable tag solution. They have high sensitivity and can be reused, which ensures excellent protection performance and are low-cost, but highly cost-effective. Hard tags usually need to be attached to the goods using a pin and lanyard, or similar.
Tag detacher: After payment, the cashier will use a detacher to separate the tags and pin, so that those hard tags remain in the shop and can be used again. In this way, the paid goods will not start the alarm because there is no tag when they pass the door.
Soft label: Soft labels are mainly used for goods which can’t be protected by hard tags, such as electronics, boxes, etc. There is adhesive on the back of soft tags. You just need to paste the tag on the protected products, but be careful, it can’t go on top of any warning or other important information on the product. However, because it has a very strong adhesive, any attempt to forcibly remove it may cause surface damage to the goods making illegal activity obvious.
Label Deactivator: After payment, the Label Deactivator will decode soft labels so that they no longer set off the alarm, and the buyer can safely pass the anti-shoplifting antenna. The deactivation unit is placed next to the point-of-sale equipment for quick and easy checkout.

Electronic article surveillance for retail store loss prevention
Electronic article surveillance (EAS) is popularity amongst retailers looking for inventory protection. EAS refers to the security tags that are attached to merchandise and cause an alarm to sound on exiting the store. Regularly, even when an alarm does sound, a shoplifter walks out casually and is not confronted if no guards are present.
Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) is a technology used to identify items as they pass through a gated area. Typically this identification is used to alert someone of the unauthorized removal of items from a store, library, or data center. There are several types of EAS systems. In each case, the EAS tag or label is affixed to an item. The tag is then deactivated when the item is purchased (or legally borrowed) at the checkout desk. When the item is moved through the gates (usually at a door to the premises), the gate is able to sense if the tag is active or deactivated and sound an alarm if necessary.
EAS systems are used anywhere there is a chance of theft from small items to large. By placing an EAS tag on an item, it is not necessary to hide the item behind locked doors and so makes it easier for the consumer to review the product.
Today’s EAS source tagging, where the tag is built into the product at the point of manufacture or packaging, has become commonplace. This makes the labeling of goods unnecessary, saving time and money at the store.
